These are good but not sure if there is a way of making ice off the grid.
You could have standard water in the esky and use during the day with solar panel or solar/battery, as a water cooler.
I have purchased/trialed rechargeable fans but takes 16-20hrs to charge connecting to mains power (longer if trickle feeding from solar/battery, which is more off the grid) for 5hrs of usage.

Yeah, good point - I realised this after I posted - where to get the ice from.
I will post a few more I found (without the need for ice).
