strop2: I was in Australia for a few weeks and got caught up in Cyclone Trevor. I helped locals prep for the cyclone and bunkered down in a Trackers Hut. I was lucky to be in a location where the cyclone kept circling and received high winds and rain. Apr 11, 2019 9:24:59 GMT 8

strop2: I had a good look around Singapore for 6 days in June and can fully understand Singapore Preppers wondering about Prepping. Maybe try and grow foods on small balconies and keep 7-10 days of food and water that can be rotated.....any other ideas? Jun 23, 2019 15:14:17 GMT 8

I like the Earthship designs and Container designs. You can really unleash your imagination with these things.
A friend bought a 32 acre property near Katherine NT Australia and had a 40 ft shipping container sat on a cement slab, looks good, is cheap and strong. She did most of the work on it herself. She had a Bob Cat (small small tractor) to level ground, lay pipes.
If I was still working, in Australia, I would definitely build with these giant building blocks.
