Those pumpkins just came up from our compost heap. And funnily enough the vine climbs up and we have had pumpkins hanging in the air!

that would have been a welcome surprise. I love it when food grows despite the odds, all on it's little own.

At the moment - cabbage, peas, broad beans, corriander, thai eggplant, LOTS of chili bushes ( about 25, maybe more, either in the garden or in pots - ranging from mild to bum burners ), garlic, thai spring onions ( not sure of the name ), and about to plant some lemon grass too.
Ok Ok, I LOVE thai and other Asian foods!!!

that would have been a welcome surprise. I love it when food grows despite the odds, all on it's little own. I don't mind as long as it doesn't have its own arms and legs too and doesn't start chasing me down the street LOL sometimes it would surprise you what nature can do, put together a pile of kitchen compost then all of a sudden, you have a mini-garden.

I have a singular chilli plant. Will likely get one more chilli plant and some mint. My mint all died Gonna find a new place to plant them now. Hopefully with more light

Just ask for a fresh chili from the restaurant. take it home. break open the seeds then plant it.
Those things are robust and they can practically sprout on their own

ATM - broccoli, cabbage, peas, silver beet & coriander. Our chili bushes still have a lot of chili's on them. Picked them, and what we don't use we will freeze.
