i went to Mustafa yesterday to pick up 2kg of raw cashews and 2kg of raw almonds and came across these Ready to Eat (read this as MRE) Indian food. Mainly basmati rice with dal or paneer or something like that at an affordable price. Bought 3 to try. If good will buy more. good might be keen to check it out too. Hi, I guess raw almonds and cashews can't be consumed outright? Got to check out Mustafa. Thanks.

good wasn't talking about the cashews lah .. more like the RTE Indian dishes ... lol bought some more canned food to test. scavenged some boxes around the same size as my mountain house best seller kits. The size is good to build a 2 person 72 hour kit with RTE rice, curries, biscuits, canned food, indian RTE. Bought some more BIC lighters for the Bug out Boxes. Bought a new pair of scissors to cut up cans, to make penny stoves. Bought enough stuff for the coming CNY weekend holiday to prep

Just got my new SolarForce L2M (with adjustable length tube) host. Am waiting for the 800 lumen bulb assembly hehehe.
I installed one of my previous 320 lumen bulb assemblies and it is cute. I dubbed it my "Mini Me" since it is a shorter version of my other L2 flashlights.
Also got more canned goods (some processed meats and several cans of fruits). I also got two more disposable Cricket lighters (this is the number one brand locally).

Just planted 7,500sqm of rice.
Harvested 30kg of peanuts which I grew in my front Garden. Not too time consuming but have lots of nutrients. Most peanuts were given to poor families.
Peanuts were grown in 3m x 3m of ground.

How much space to grow that many nuts? ? Me, I did a look around at a few shops and plan to spend a few $$ on tinned food next days off. Also planted 2 fig trees from shoots off a potted fig, and a lavender bush. I'll also be planting a few passion fruit vines, as well as a papaya tree. (They say it can grow here ok as long as there is no frost). I'm also looking to pull out one of the palm trees and replace with a banana tree.
